National Center for Education Statistics - Collects and analyzes education data, K-12 through Postsecondary. Useful tools are:

State Higher Education Executive Officers - Statewide coordinating and governing boards for postsecondary education and publish reports on state higher education finance.

The Trust Fund - Promotes high academic achievement from pre-kindergarten through college. Publications in the Higher Ed section focus on college access and increasing student success.

Regional

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges - The regional accrediting body for higher education institutions in Southern states.

Southern Regional Education Board - Works with 16 member states to improve public pre-k-12 and higher education. Several studies are linked below.

Louisiana

UNO joins the University of Louisiana System. On July 12, 2011, ACT 419 Louisiana Legislation moved UNO from the LSU System into UL System and final approval was granted on December 6, 2011 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges.

Louisiana Board of Regents (BOR) - Constitutional authority and budgetary responsibility for the state's public higher education institutions. GRAD Act section contains public documents from each institution. Statewide data collections and reports are available from Data and Publications.

Louisiana Department of Education - Data and Reports section has statistical information such as K-12 data and school performance cards, student populations by districts, parishes and individual schools, College Readiness (ACT results, First-Time College Freshmen showing which high schools provide students to UNO)
