LouisianaUNO joins the University of Louisiana System. On July 12, 2011, ACT 419 Louisiana Legislation moved UNO from the LSU System into UL System and final approval was granted on December 6, 2011 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges.
